The rain falling down from heaven,
hitting the ground like little bombs.
The water under my feet is reflecting the sky above. Dark. Cold.
I'm standing on the pier, the rain forming little drops on my face and
joining my tears on the way down.
I hold my hands out trying to reach for something lost.
The darkness holds me and squeezes what little air I've got left.
My mind is full and my hearts depressed because of what I've lost, now trying to find.
My strength is gone. I am weakened by the emotional turmoil inside my heart.
I close my eyes and make a silent wish that the sun will shine again and warm me up.
Please take the darkness away.
Please let the rain stop.
Please take the pain away.
Be the shelter I need.
